The Nigerian police have arrested five suspects namely Mohammed Zurai,
Ciroma Musa, Sale Adamu, Suleiman Laute and Haruna Laute, allegedly
involved in the midnight attack that left at least 20 people dead in
Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Enugu State.
A statement released by police spokesperson, Olabisi
Kolawole, said the Inspector General’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT)
carried out the operation based on credible intelligence.
This successfully lead to their arrest and also a recovery of a Gionee
L88 mobile phone with a memory card that contains a video recording of
the massacre in the community.
